Sasar 10 Besar Ekonomi Dunia, Making Indonesia 4.0 Digaungkan di HM 2023

Indonesia is ready to enter the era of Industry 4.0, as evidenced by a number of manufacturing sectors that have undergone digital transformation to increase productivity and competitiveness on the global stage. This effort is believed to accelerate national economic growth.

"This readiness is supported by the Making Indonesia 4.0 roadmap. Therefore, at the Hannover Messe 2023, we are carrying the big theme of Making Indonesia 4.0," said Director General of International Industrial Access, Eko S.A. Cahyanto in Jakarta on Saturday (15/4).

The Director General explained that in the Making Indonesia 4.0 roadmap, the government has designated seven sectors as priority development sectors. These seven sectors are the food and beverage industry, textiles and clothing, automotive, electronics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.

"Hannover Messe 2023 is an important momentum for industry players to introduce Industry 4.0 technology and expand their corporate businesses. These industrial sectors are prioritized given their contribution to GDP, exports, and job creation in the manufacturing sector, which reaches more than 60%," he added.

Eko is optimistic that the implementation of the programs contained in Making Indonesia 4.0 will accelerate the achievement of his main aspiration, which is to make Indonesia one of the 10 largest economies in the world by 2030.

At the Hannover Messe 2023, each display category will showcase the implemented technology, potential collaborations, corporate expansions, and opportunities to be achieved by co-exhibitors. The event will take place from April 17-21, 2023, at the Hannover Fairgrounds, Germany.

"Indonesia will showcase more than 157 co-exhibitors in the Indonesian Pavilion, along with business summits and various conferences," said Eko. The exhibition participants consist of industrial business players including industrial startups, associations, industrial estates, special economic zones, educational institutions, and the Capital City (IKN), including the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS), Astra International Tbk, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and K / L, as well as PT Domas Agrointi Prima and PT Kaltim Parna, who expressed their support for Indonesia's participation in Hannover Messe 2023, hoping for golden opportunities for investment.

According to Eko, Indonesia's presence as the Official Partner Country of Hannover Messe 2023 can be utilized not only as a nation branding event, but also to showcase Indonesia's industrial development in implementing Industry 4.0. Indonesia is viewed not only as a country with potential world market strength, but also as having a significant role in contributing to the development of industrial technology and its support.

Eko added that the Hannover Messe 2023 exhibition is a very important event and the largest technology exhibition in the world. On this occasion, Indonesia carries the logo 'Kapal Pinisi' and the tagline 'Infinite Journey'.

The logo and tagline depict that starting from the creation of the Pinisi technology, Indonesia will further develop with the spirit of optimism and vast potential for the future, where Indonesia's journey towards the future is not limited by anything. "This event will also be a special milestone for the manufacturing industry to further thrive by implementing the latest technologies, thereby having competitiveness at the global level,"
