Jakarta (05/04) – At the Hannover Messe 2023 event, not only is Indonesia the first country in ASEAN to become an Official Partner Country, but it also supports national branding efforts for Indonesia's position as a new world economic power and global manufacturing player. This aligns with the Making Indonesia 4.0 strategy initiative launched by President Joko Widodo to answer the challenges of the 4th industrial revolution.
"This is not the first time Indonesia has become the Official Country Partner of Hannover Messe, after previously in 1995, then in 2021 which was done digitally, and in 2023 as the third opportunity. It is a pride for Indonesia to be the only country that has been appointed up to three times to become the Official Partner of the Hannover Messe Country, this shows the trust of the German government and the importance of Indonesia in the eyes of the world, especially in its rapid economic development."

Iken added that the industry's success in Indonesia that will be highlighted would be devoted to the advantages of technology adopted and used by the co-exhibitors.
The important message is that Indonesia has become an industrial country with industrial and technological developments equal to developed countries. A total of 157 co-exhibitors will participate in the Indonesian Pavilion at the Hannover Messe Fairground consisting of industry players, including startup industries, associations, industrial areas, special economic zones, educational institutions and the State Capital (IKN).
