Minister of Industry Review Final Preparations for Indonesia Partner Country Hannover Messe 2023

The world's largest industrial exhibition, Hannover Messe 2023, will be opened on April 16 2023, by Indonesian President Joko Widodo and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Furthermore, the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Chancellor of Germany are scheduled to inaugurate the Indonesian Pavilion on April 17 2023, at 08:45 am Hannover time. To ensure the smooth preparation of the agenda, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, accompanied by Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita and Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno LP Marsudi, inspected the location of the 3,000 m2 Indonesian Pavilion Zone in Hall 2 of the Hannover Fairground.

 

During the review, the Coordinating Minister for Airlangga said that Indonesia had collected an investment of IDR 30 trillion, even though the 2023 Hannover Messe had yet to be opened. "The Hannover Messe can provide an overview of economic and manufacturing developments in Indonesia. It is hoped that technology and investment collaboration can be held at this exhibition," said the Coordinating Minister for Airlangga in Hannover, Sunday morning local time (16/4).

The inauguration of the Indonesian Pavilion will be followed by a Walkabout, Business Summit, and Indonesia Country Night on April 17, 2023, and several conference activities with several technology-related themes on April 18-20, 2023.

"At Pavilion Indonesia, an area of 1500 m2 is used by 157 co-exhibitors which are divided into several zones according to the Highlight Theme Indonesia Partner Country, namely zone A for companies with the theme of sustainability and energy, zone B as the main zone for Making Indonesia 4.0 and engineered parts. And solutions, zone C for SOEs, zone D for the theme of investment/industrial park and human capital, and the HM zone for startup and innovation and HM Display Categories," the Minister of Industry explained.

The main Indonesian Pavilion carries the concept of the Pinisi ship and the tagline "Infinite Journey" at the Hannover Messe 2023, which is expected to inspire and encourage participants to embrace the limitless opportunities of this event.

Apart from visiting the Indonesian Central Pavilion in Hall 2, the group also visited the Hannover Congress Centrum as the venue for the 2023 Hannover Messe opening ceremony.
