Ethambutol Radiopharmaceutical KIT

In collaboration with PT Kimia Farma Tbk, BRIN has developed a kit for Ethambutol radiopharmaceutical preparation, an anti-tuberculosis drug-based diagnostic KIT. After being labeled with Technetium-99m, Ethambutol radiopharmaceuticals detect infections caused by "Mycobacterium tuberculosis" of the lungs and the dermato musculoskeletal system. According to the labeling instructions, [99mTc]Tc-Ethambutol is administered intravenously after being labeled with a sterile, oxidant-free eluate from the Molybdenum-99 / Technetium-99m radionuclide generator. The recommended single dose for an adult patient ranges from 370 to 740 MBq (10 to 20 mCi) per 70 kg body weight.
