Universitas Syiah Kuala - Atsiri Research Centre PUI PT Nilam Aceh

Syiah Kuala University (USK) is the oldest state university in Aceh which has strategic functions in improving the quality of human resources through the harmony of science and technology (IPTEK) and faith and God-fearing (IMTAQ), both for regional and national needs. USK, through its research centre of excellence called the Atsiri Research Centre, has develop a knowledge-based technology to improve the patchouli industry, from upstream to downstream. The research centre activities has created cross-institutional collaborations and inclusive innovation which impacted economic empowerment in the community and small and medium industries.
