The Indonesian-German Economic Association (EKONID) acts as a strategic interface between the German and Indonesian economies. We represent bilateral business interests between German and Indonesian companies, organizations and institutions. Our core business is to support our members from both countries in exploring investment opportunities and creating business relationships. We are the point of contact, information centre, and primary point of contact for companies interested in doing business in or with Indonesia. EKONID offers a wide range of services under the supervision of DEinternational – from general market information to services tailored to each company for success in entering the Indonesian market, including finding business partners, support in legal matters and participation in trade shows. Apart from having a main office in Jakarta, EKONID also has a representative office in Surabaya, namely Wisma Germany, a collaboration between the Goethe-Institut and EKONID, which is supported by the German Embassy in Jakarta. Wisma German offers language courses, events and services from EKONID's portfolio of services.
